Building Strong Foundations Inc. began in 2010 as a meager grass root effort in the West End Neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. What began as an act of kindness to provide basic necessities to neighbors in need; soon turned into a conviction to provide warm winter clothing and coats to neighborhood children, and freshly prepared meals to senior citizens attempting to maintain independence. Continuing to grow, Building Strong Foundations Inc. was founded and approved as a registered Faith Based 501c3 Non-Profit in 2017. 

Building Strong Foundations Inc., (also known affectionately as BSFI) continues to impact the lives of those in need and who are unsure of which way to go. We continue to help others Build Strong Foundations for Brighter Futures, by personally standing on the foundational principle, “That unless the Lord Builds the House, we labor in vain!”
